Stanco Exhibitions launches logistics division

Stanco Exhibitions is launching a logistics division and has hired former Schenker logistics guru Nigel Foster to head the operation.

Foster was at Schenker for 15 years, where he spearheaded the development of its domestic logistics operations, and prior to that spent ten years within Pickford's exhibition lifting division.

"Nigel has the experience and specialised industry insight required to launch this ambitious new venture," said Stanco owner Opex Group MD Andy Gibb.

"Stanco Logistics" will be based at the company's offices within the NEC Complex in Birmingham.

Last year Stanco merged with Opec and Stanco Logistics is seen as part of its strategic growth.
